Friends of Jenny, LLC., is a non-profit (501C3) organization founded to bring the early American Aviation story to the general public in the form of a hands-on, flying 1917 Curtiss JN-4 Biplane.  This aircraft, N38262, will be managed, maintained, and flown by FOJ.  FOJ consists of an all-volunteer group of aviators and aviation aficionados, who have worked most diligently to restore and bring to flight status 38262.  FOJ provides educational background information, materials, and articles to community groups across the mid-west and south-eastern United States in conjunction with appearances of the aircraft. Educational topics associated with this important aviation icon include, early American entrepreneurs such as Glenn Curtiss and the Wright Brothers, principals of early aviation flight, famous aviators who learned to fly in the Jenny such as Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart, the birth of the U.S. Mail Service and much more.
Funding and financial support of FOJ is used solely to support the mission.  A ground crew as well as a flight crew accompanies all travel associated with the aircraft.  Complementary print and visual materials will be made available to all media outlets in conjunction with each community visit.
FOJ is a 501C3 Kentucky based non-profit corporation, headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
